Tim joined TDRF as Curator in 2022. He previously worked as Assistant Team Leader of Protection & Visitor Services at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), and worked independently as an art historian specialising in Australian art heritage, decorative arts, and material culture.
Tim holds a BA from the University of Queensland and a BA (Hons Class I) from the University of Sydney. He is a member of Professional Historians Australia and previously served as the Queensland chapter’s President (2017-2020) and Treasurer (2014-2017; 2020-2021). He served on the Council of the Royal Historical Society of Queensland from 2015-2020.
